W\u003cspan\u003eith a P1 Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the 4 assembly screws that hold the plastic housing together.\u003c\/span\u003e\n\u003c\/td\u003e\n\u003c\/tr\u003e\n\u003ctr style=\"height: 58.8068px;\"\u003e\n\u003ctd style=\"height: 58.8068px;\"\u003e3. C\u003cspan\u003earefully remove the top plastic piece ONLY. DO NOT remove the top heatsink, thermally conductive adhesive holds the heatsink tightly against the ESC. If this bond becomes loose or gets damaged the ESC could potentially fail.\u003c\/span\u003e\n\u003c\/td\u003e\n\u003c\/tr\u003e\n\u003ctr style=\"height: 39.2045px;\"\u003e\n\u003ctd style=\"height: 39.2045px;\"\u003e4. W\u003cspan\u003eith the back of the screwdriver, press the fan cover and the fan out of the plastic housing. This may take some force, be careful to not damage the plastic housing.\u003c\/span\u003e\n\u003c\/td\u003e\n\u003c\/tr\u003e\n\u003ctr style=\"height: 39.2045px;\"\u003e\n\u003ctd style=\"height: 39.2045px;\"\u003e5. P\u003cspan\u003elace the new fan cover into the plastic housing with the Castle word logo facing away from the ESC.\u003c\/span\u003e\n\u003c\/td\u003e\n\u003c\/tr\u003e\n\u003ctr style=\"height: 58.8068px;\"\u003e\n\u003ctd style=\"height: 58.8068px;\"\u003e6. P\u003cspan\u003elace the new 40mm fan into the plastic housing with the open side of the fan up against the fan cover. Once \u003cspan\u003ethe fan and fan cover are in place, align the plastic housing back onto the ESC and place the same screws into the housing that were previously removed.
