What a ride!
Castle Creations started on a kitchen table in 1997 when founder, Patrick del Castillo, was hand assembling ESCs in his spare time. By 2000, he had retired from his engineering career at Garmin to develop and manufacture ESCs full-time for the rapidly growing R/C flying industry. Just three years later, Castle had multiple employees all dedicated and enthusiastic about the hobby, and sharing the same idea that too much power was never enough.
Once the public started learning that brushless power was here to stay (and far superior) we began outfitting Ready-to-Run and Ready-to-Fly retail products with ESCs and motors while rapidly expanding our product line. It was then when the aftermarket upgrade options demanded an infusion of power that OVERPOWERING became our niche.
Our power systems are ideal for those who desire higher efficiency, advanced features, and improved optimization for their stock upgrade or build. Your passion fuels our passion. Perhaps we think of it as living vicariously through you.
Castle Creations calls Olathe, Kansas USA home. It is our headquarters, where our products come to life. You can check out some of the action first hand in our video right here: “Making the Mamba X”.

In October 2019, Castle was welcomed into the Pivot International family. Pivot, also based in Kansas, has a track record of more than 50 years of innovation, quality, design, engineering, and electronic manufacturing expertise. We now have opportunities to improve the availability of our products, expand distribution, and accelerate new product releases. Our arsenal of talent expanded to more than 100 engineers across the globe.
