Building on the success of the COBRA 10 and COBRA 8, we are excited to announce the release of the all-new COBRA 6,engineered for 1/7th and 1/5th scale high-performance RC applications! The COBRA 6 is available to purchase as an ESC-only option or packaged with three Castle 4-POLE 12-SLOT motor options to overpower a wide range of 1/7th and 1/6th scale vehicles.
The COBRA 6 AND 1520-1650KV COMBO is a perfect upgrade for 1/8, 1/7 and 1/6 scale vehicles weighing up to 18lbs and up to 8S LiPo. The 1520-1650Kv has all of the secret sauce that the big brother 1717-1650Kv has, but in a more compact diameter, fitting into smaller spaces without modifications to your chassis.

Product Use Statement:
  1. Recommended battery capacity for 1:6th scale vehicles is 5000mah. We recommend using 50C continuous discharge or higher LiPo batteries.
  2. Surge ratings should never be used to determine a pack’s suitability for a brushless application.
  3. We recommend a high current connector designed for high-powered electric systems, rated for 120+ amps, such as Castle CC Bullet 6.5mm, CC Bullet 8.0mm, or 6.5mm Polarized Castle Connectors.
  4. Applying voltages higher than 33.6V will cause irreparable damage to ESC.
  5. Although Cobra 6 is waterproof, it is not intended for operation while completely submerged in liquid. Always rinse the ESC with clean water after exposure to corrosives or dirt.
  6. The cooling fan must be removed prior to driving in wet conditions. It is not waterproof.

Tech Tips:
  1. This motor includes 10AWG wire and 6.5mm connectors for use specifically this ESC/Motor combo.
  2. Running modes: SMARTSENSE™, Sensored, Sensorless with Castle sensored capable ESCs.
  3. Water Resistant Design: The sensor board is coated with silicone conformal coating to protect the sensors from moisture. The sensor connections are not water resistant; water can cause signal loss which could result in loss of sensored capabilities. Castle recommended applying dielectric grease to the outside of the sensor wire connections after installation of the wire. Routine maintenance is recommended after running in wet conditions. Please refer to this document for running and maintaining motors in wet environments.
