The Mamba Micro X2 is a refresh of our popular Mamba Micro X. This new ESC increases the maximum input voltage to 4s. We also added DATA LOGGING and our CRYO-DRIVE™ TECHNOLOGY; CryoDrive allows the ESC to run cooler and more efficiently at partial throttle. Like its predecessor, it is waterproof* and has SENSORED MOTOR SUPPORT.
This ESC and Motor Combo are ideal for the weight conscious builder or where space is limited, it is perfect for 1:10 scale low speed rock crawlers/trail runners on 3S-4S weighing less than 8lbs. It can also be used in more aggressive setups in lighter 1:10 scale touring cars, stadium trucks or buggies weighing up to 5lbs. If you're looking for a more aggressive setup in a heavier rig, like rock racing and extended hill climbing, we recommend you run the Mamba X ESC or Cobra 10. Like its predecessor it includes improved features for rock crawling, including active drag brake and drag brake ramp.

*Although the Mamba Micro X2 is waterproof, it is not intended for operation while completely submerged in liquid. They can corrode when exposed to corrosive materials, such as salt water. Always rinse the ESC with clean water after exposure to corrosives or dirt. While the controller may be waterproof, we suggest users confirm that the rest of their vehicle, including the batteries, servos, radio and chassis are also waterproof before exposing them to liquids of any kind.

Running modes: SmartSense™ Sensored and an ultra-efficient Sensorless mode. Water Resistant Design: The sensor board is coated with silicone conformal coating to protect the sensors from moisture. The sensor connections are not water resistant; water can cause signal loss which could result in loss of sensored capabilities. Castle recommends applying dielectric grease to the outside of the sensor wire connections after installation of the wire. Routine maintenance is recommended after running in wet conditions. Please refer to this document for running and maintaining motors in wet environments. |

This allows you to view a detailed turn-by-turn record of what your ESC actually experienced during the run. You will be able to record real-time data such as motor RPM, ESC and motor temperature, throttle input, and more. Download and analyze the collected data via Castle Link and make adjustments to maximize both performance and battery life. Auxiliary Functionality: |
The Mamba Micro X2 allows “on-the-fly” adjustments to be made through the AUX wire once enabled in Castle Link. Once you have selected an AUX wire function, that setting can then be tuned from your transmitter while driving. Torque control, max throttle, max brake and drag brake adjustments are a sampling of the available modes. This real-time tuning allows you to quickly and easily fine-tune your system.
